Its just amazing because everything and anything can happen~ I'm still a little bit lost because it seems just so free and a tad wild and messy, but really, it's just great that something like this exists. I also found it on the powerpoint thing.

I found it randomly on my dashboard in powerpoint format on why it's awesome. And thought it looked awesome but completely forgot about it until one of my friends created his own version of 0041 and quickly went and did my own and then fell in love with the fandom itself~ I saw the PowerPoint too! I actually went to the Tumblr immediately and opened fourteen characters in new tabs; my laptop almost crashed. I think it's great because the characters are so unique, and it's completely run by the fandom. It's all royalty-free and open to every kind of interpreatation. It's so great! I think 36 is my favorite; I want to cosplay her so bad!

I found out about it from vgperson because they've been doing sprite art of the characters, and I was wondering what the heck they were lol. I am gonna try to do some doodles for it. Hopefully it'll inspire me to start....doing....stuff again. I feel like a zombie recently. D: I think my favorite is 100 because..... Yeah. Just because lol. EDIT: MR. TOILET IS MY SECOND FAVORITE <3 ALSO JUST FOUND OUT SUBMISSIONS ARE FULL. CRAP. D:

Same as Serukii, I found out about fanpro when vgperson posted her sprite of 0044. What's interesting with fanpro is that usually, in fanworks, there is that danger of going out of character (especially in fanfics, when the author has to think for the characters they are writing about). Not only the issue of OOCness disappears but authors also have the liberty to, I think, inject more of their creativity/sensibility as artists.
As for drawings, I think that, all especially on tumblr, people tends to "consume" pictures : you read/watch a book/series/etc, you like a character, everytime you see your favourite character you'll like/reblog it because it's him/her. Average fan arts of popular series get tons of notes, good/creative fan arts of obscure series (or of original characters) go unnoticed because people are looking for specific characters (and characterization) and situations they already know. For Fanpro, each work (written, or drawn, etc) is a new characterization of the same design. Because there aren't any canon facts, you can't become attached to a specific character (assuming you "like" a character for more than its design). Rather, you discover each works thinking "I like this version of 00xx." or "I don't like this version of 00xx.", and end up following one artist's work.
TL;DR Fanpro united people to draw original stuff and that's good because it brings everyone's creativity. Also, my english is terrible.

My introduction to Fanpro is kinda like Razz's. Saw the cool powerpoint but I was on my phone so I was like nah, not gonna go searching for it. Sounds cool though. Then I saw an artist's rendition of 0003. Found the main blog. Fell in love.
((PS My headcanon for 0003 is that she is the last living relative (as far as she knows maybe?) of a family of Dark Magi. She was forced into the art by her mother, and is now easily frightened and shy. She accidentally cast a spell on herself bringing near immortality. I don't know just how old she is though. Haven't thought of that yet.))

I was introduced to Fanpro by my lover, and I ended up thinking it was super awesome! From then on my favorite was 0015. My headcanon for her is that she's a mischievous water sprit/ghost who died by drowning, and after basically falling in love with the concept I used it in my askblog.
My favorite thing about Fanpro is that it gives a lot of artists the chance to be creative, and show off their interpretations of a simple design. I like how, because of that, you can look around at other's contributions and be impressed by the unique variety everywhere! Another thing I love about Fanpro is the fandom. Even though the original project turned out to be a lie, people stuck with it because they loved the idea and they wanted it to continue. Plus, the fandom has only ever been nice to me so far, especially regarding my art, where I have lots of low self esteem <3
Fanpro is slowly envelopinG MY LIFE HEL P
