I was not quite sure where to put this, but since it involves art / story telling / character building in general... I'll say it's general!
A few weeks ago I had hatched up a plan for an interactive story-type project to develop one of a bazillion Fanpro fancanons. However, as updates happen weekly with 20 characters a week I have realize that pulling this off on my own is, how does one say... tots' impossible. So I was wondering if any Fanpros would want to help. Here is the basic run down (which is also over here ~ fanpro1kwishes.tumblr.com/ ).
Concept
Each of the Fanpro characters made a wish. Some more seriously than others, but they all wanted something. Those wishes were heard by Fanpro0000, who summoned them to a domain created for precisely this purpose. However, there was not enough power to grant 1000 wishes. Instead, each competitor donated their own power to the pool, much like the collecting of 1000 4 lead clovers or making 1000 paper cranes to grant a wish. They would compete for the right to the collective power and the winner would use that prize to make their wish come true.
Everyone else, however, would have given up all of their power. They would return to their world without any hope or ability to make even their tiniest wishes come true.
The stakes are high. Win and you get the one wish you thought was impossible granted. Lose and every wish you ever hope for is doomed to impossibility. As a judge, whose wish do you think is worth condemning 999 other souls to a hopeless life?
How it Works
1000 Wishes is an audience-influenced story about the Fanpros. As the premise suggests, the audience is playing a huge role; they are “Wish Judges" and their voting determines which Fanpro stay in the competition and which are doomed to this foreshadowed hopeless life. A Tumblr blog has been made for the purpose of this project. Every two weeks, 10 Fanpros will have characters developed and information about them spammed; pictures, biographies, trivia, poems, etc. The first week will be all about presenting that information on the blog so that the followers/Wish Judges can see what is "canon" for them in this universe. Then, at the start of week two, Voting Posts will go up. In order to vote, Wish Judges should reblog and/or like the Voting Post. At the end of the week, the Voting Post with the post votes is that round's survivor, who proceeds to Level Two. Survivors will be saved until Level Two voting. Then the process will repeat for Level Two, Three, Four, etc. until there is only one Fanpro left.
What to Help With
Anyone who wants to contribute would be helping collaborate on the identities of this universes' Fanpros. To keep this from becoming an art or popularity contest, helpers would be asked to contribute as much to all 10 of the round's characters as possible. Characters will be competing in groups of 10, starting with 0001 to 0010 and onward. So you cannot ask to have your favorite Fanpro added to a round they do not belong in. This will force us to develop all of the Fanpros linearly and not show favorites (Wish Judges show favorites, not us!). There will be one week of prep time, but that may be extended if not all of the round's Fanpros have gotten the same attention (ex.: If 8 of them have loads of details and we have nothing for the 2 others).
What to Contribute:
So Yes! I'm not expecting much help, but it would be nice. Fanpro is a community first and I love that aspect most. Anyone who wants to offer help would be appreciated. Even if it's only for one round; the more the merrier.

What to Contribute:
- Your Character Building; We need profiles and personalities before anything.
- Short Stories; Stories about the Fanpro's life back home, their wish, any friends they left behind, etc.
- Art/Comics; Less important, but artwork that captures a personality or feeling for the lazy people who don't want to read everything.
- Ask Blogs; During the prep week, consider having your Ask Blog represent a competing Fanpro. Answer questions asked by Wish Judges to win their support and Fanproism.
- Long-Term Stories/World Building; So maybe the character you fell in love with got eliminated... Doesn't mean they're dead. If you want to take the developed concept and elaborate more on it then go ahead. We'll advertise your work and support you how we can.
- Overall Story Writers; This project is meant to be a solid story. Ideally, each week's voting session will end with a story segment. Maybe a character snapped and murdered a competitor, or maybe two competitors fell in love and now have to deal with the agony of being apart. People to help write "canon story segments" would be create.
