The oekaki is now officially done and can be found at haevenarts.x10.mx/Oekakis/fanpro .
To register take the following steps:
1.Go to the URL above.
2.Go to the link that says "Register".
3. Read through the rules completely then click the "Click here to register." link.
4.Fill out the form and please make sure you are using an e-mail that can send and receive mail and provide art samples regarding Fanpro.In this case a Tumblr,Deviantart or similar portfolio is fine.
5.Once you choose to register it will say something like "bbs mailer is out".Don't freak out! This is just the oekaki's way of saying your registration needa approved. Hit your back button and you will get notified via e-mail when that occurs.
6.Once I go into the board and approve it which should happen within a day you will get an e-mail telling you that and prompting you to log in at the board.
7.After you are registered please fill out your profile,upload an avatar and if you skipped reading the rules please do it at this point.
8.Do a drawing on the board within fifteen days of joining and when you do tell a little about yourself in the commentary area.
From that point on just have fun and be active.If for any reason days pass and I haven't approved your registration e-mail me at haevenarts@gmail.com
Some Notable features on the board are:
-There are two templates.One reflects the design scheme of the Tumblr page and one the forum.It's a big task to pick a few characters to build templates around but in the future I do hope to add more.
-The box with tabs at the top has news,helpful info and eventually will have some events of some kind.Please check the Info,News,and events tab when you go on the board the first time as they do have some content right now.
-There's another box under 0166 that I call the Idea Box.It had some randomly generated ideas for characters to draw.I'll update this each week. There are also links to all the Idea Generators I mentioned in my other forum post under the events tab.
All the prominent design elements on the board were pulled from the Fanpro design files.I think i used 0124,0000,0166 and two others I forget the numbers of.I think 0036 and 0200....
If you are new to using an oekaki board you can google for a lot of tutorials or find some on DA.I'll be glad to help anyone out as far as getting started type questions.I will attempt to pop into the forum a little this week to make sure nothing is posted here I need to address but the gmail address is the best way to get me or through the oekaki's mailbox system.I'm not going to actually be joining the forum at the moment unless it's really needed.Hope you guys enjoy the oekaki!
