I don't actually know why I like them so much

I like the headcanon that they're genderfluid. mostly they prefer gender neutral pronouns but it's not a Huge Deal if you use male or female ones

they're pretty cool with gender mostly. like gender? what is gender. I will be male one day and female another day and another day I will be nothing in particular who cares about gender

they may be holding a spatula but I think they want to be an engineer

because that is not suitable cooking-clothes. probably not suitable engineer clothes either. who knows. it is a mystery.

If they are a cook, then the clothes their wearing are probably quite heat resistant and durable. I like to imagine a sort of mix of the cook and engineer ideas, insofar as they enjoy cooking but sometimes come up with strange gadgets and inventions to help them with it.
