Yeah me too. I've accepted that she is a seasoned Black Mage, older than she looks, and that she's a bit shy (or at least seems that way) out of fear of her passed mother. I believe that she believes she is the last living member of her family, due to a curse she accidentally put on herself, causing apparent immortality. When growing up, in a household full of Black Magi, she was forced to learn the arts, and I do mean forced. Helnce the fear.

She may or may not have arms. If she does, her chest to shoulder ratio is quite smaller than normal.

Headcanon: She's got six arms, and writes hieroglyphic spells on her arms because she's quite a forgetful mage, yet a powerful one. All of her arms probably start at her shoulder, and she just hides them under her shawl (probably to not get caught "cheating" her spells? haha...)

My first thought was that she'd have to stick her head under her shawl to read out her spells, which is an unbearably cute image.

For all of her practice and powers, the only spell she can't seem to get a grasp of is this one haircutting spell. The verious lengths and multiple instances of locks that jut straight out are proof that she has yet to master what many consider to be an extremely simple practice.
She also is continually attempting to try it out on her friends, with varying results.

touhou and Gatamigo, such lovely ideas! Her haircutting practice on her friends would explain some other characters' unique hairstyles as well.
